  • Assisted 70 small and midsized (SME) client companies in achieving ISO/QS 9000 certification.
  • RAB and ASQ certified to perform more than 50 quality systems (2nd party) audits based on ISO/QS requirements.
  • Performed 20 SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) J 4000 lean systems audits.
  • Served as applicant/candidate portfolio reviewer for SME Lean Certification.  Assisted in the development of Lean Certification.
  • Established lean learning institute and developed the first inter-school master’s course in Lean Principles and Applications in the history of Oakland University.
  • Created and conducted 12 workshops and seminars related to Lean Manufacturing called Foundation for Lean Transformation with hands on simulation.

    • Tier 1 automotive supplier of wheels – coordinated and participated in value stream mapping process and manufacturing improvement projects.
    • Supplier of after market dental hygiene products – Assessment of operations and conduct leadership training session for senior management.
    • Supplier of rehabilitation and fitness equipment – Lead and participate in operational assessment and implementation of value stream based improvements.
    • Tier 1 diesel engine manufacturer – Lead and participated in 13 week long kaizen events.  Assist with SMED, 5S, total productive maintenance, tooling replenishment, and machining efficiencies.
    • Supplier of (cold) food packing services – Assist with process and manufacturing efficiency improvements.  Conducted lean training sessions for manufacturing supervisors.
    • Tier 1 supplier of blow molded products – Assist with Lean transformation of entire operations.
    • Machining operations for large industrial parts – Assessment and report for total operations with recommended improvements.
